About Me

About Me

I’m Kat. If you’re reading this you’ve found a writer who loves romanticizing each corner of the ordinary just enough to create a compelling story. I exist to explore and create through writing and editing content that maintains engagement in a fast-paced world.

I'm a Pacific Northwest creature born in Alaska, or as I like to tell people, the North Pole. I’ve lived in Kentucky, Arizona, Colorado, and Washington before nestling in Oregon. I specialize in copy editing, line editing, poetry, historical fiction, and non-fiction.

"To say it kept me turning pages would be an understatement. I read and turned every page until there were none left. in fact I read some of the same poems over a couple times before moving along. And I have found my self picking it back up again to read. In a way I’ve found it relatable, and if you don’t find that you do relate to it in some way the writer has a way of making you feel the words written in the poems. I’ve enjoyed the book and look forward to following the written for more."

Full-length Terra Vagus poetry collection

"Broken Hands by Terra Vagus is a hauntingly beautiful collection of poetry and photography that paints a picture of what it’s like to lose yourself, find yourself, and navigate the often messy and nuanced journey of healing. Terra Vagus’ words will linger with you in a way that’ll leave you feeling far less alone than you were before inviting them in."
